MODOT 1/17 Meeting Announcement
The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a meeting to provide the public information on proposed construction on the Route AC bridge of U.S. 63 in Columbia.
The meeting will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 17 in the gymnasium of New Haven Elementary School, according to a news release from the department. The meeting facility will be accessible to people with disabilities.
MoDOT employees will be at the meeting to answer any questions on the proposed construction from the public, according to the release.
The goal of the construction is to rehabilitate and implement preventative maintenance on the bridge and is part of a project to rehabilitate seven bridges along U.S. 63 in Boone and Callaway counties, according to the release.
The construction will close the bridge for 60 days this summer, according to the release.
